Avocado Trees - a little painting up for auction

Avocado Trees
9x11.5
pastel

In our Wednesday class Jane asked me to do a demo for her. She specifically requested pastel so I did this little landscape. I had so much fun doing it that I took over her spot at the table for a little while. She finally had to shove me out of her chair so she could actually get some of her own work done. Oh, how I've missed the joy of putting stick to paper. How in the world are we supposed to find time to work in all the media we enjoy? If anyone out there has an answer please let me know. In the meantime..... how about making an offer on this little piece.

I'm going to start doing a regular auction of small original works here on the blog. The bidding will start at 10.00. If you live in Ocala we can arrange for you to pick up the work. If not, I'll have to charge for shipping so add 5.00 to the winning bid. Of course if you live in FL you'll have to add 6% for sales tax. So, either leave a comment or send an email with your offer to hershbergerhuff@hotmail.com. The bidding will be open until the end of January.

Peace,
Carlynne

"How in the world are we supposed to find time to work in all the media we enjoy?" That's a for certain even photography has turned into a multi- media undertaking.

Love the avocados. Makes me nostalgic. I was raised on a citrus and avocado ranch near Santa Barbara.

Thanks for the comment Kinsey. :)
I love these trees, I've painted them many times in many media too.
